First time Faculty Users:  

Please follow the steps sequentially to import or publish technical reports using KTRL.

1. Download and install Kepler archivelet.
   You should have now an icon for the Kepler archivelet on your desktop. Double click it to open the tool.   
2. After starting the archivelet on your machine, you will need to configure the following settings on "Settings" screen.
   • Give the archivelet ID.
   • Enter the "SP URL" for the KTRL group. The SP URL for our group is "http://mercury.seven.research.odu.edu:7777/ktrl".
   • Click register archivlet.
   • Start the OAI server.
   • Provide the other contact information like name , email etc. and click OK.
3. We have extricated from NCSTRL all the records and their related files and made them into an file that can be 'imported' by the archivelet. If you have published papers in old NCSTRL (Networked Computer Science Technical Reference Library), you can import these papers into your machine.
• Click on 'Import' and paste the appropriate link next to your name from this page.   
• Please be patient till all the records are imported.  
4. You are now ready to publish using the archivelet and can use the help button on the tool if needed. Your papers will be harvested by the group server and will be available immediately for searching.
